Join RCN Somerset Branch online or in North Petherton for a day of learning, networking and branch business, with a special focus on men's health. The event will feature expert speakers, updates on RCN campaigns and services, and opportunities to connect with fellow members from across Somerset.
Start time
Registration opens at 9:30am and the event itself will start promptly at 10am.

Branch committee elections
Elections for the following branch committee positions will take place at the AGM:
- Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Committee member (with scope to take the lead in an area of interest or expertise such as EDI, students, nursing support workers, your workplace, the independent sector, communications, recruitment, etc.)
If you would like to stand for election, please read the role descriptors and complete the online nomination form, both available on the RCN Branches webpage.
Getting involved in your branch is a great way to represent local members, influence branch activity and develop your leadership skills. New voices and fresh ideas are always welcome. It's a great way to branch out and gain some leadership experience in a supportive, nurturing environment. Training is offered at the start of your term, which would run from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.
This event is open to RCN members, including registered nurses, midwives, nursing support workers, nursing associates and student members.

Places must be booked in advance. The event is being delivered in a hybrid format, so you can choose to attend in person or online.
