We'll be visiting St Richard's Hospital to speak to you about all this and more. We'll have a stand on the first floor of the hospital, outside Peabodys Coffee where you can come and speak to us about job evaluation, with the opportunity to ask us about what you can be doing now and what to expect.

Why this matters
Last year, new national nursing profiles were published; these are used as part of the job evaluation process. This, in turn, determines the pay bands for all NHS roles on Agenda for Change contracts.
Your job description is a crucial part of this and needs to be an accurate reflection of your role.
The government has instructed NHS employers in England to review every band 5 job description, but this is just the start. All nursing jobs should be reviewed or have recently undergone a review against these new profiles – no matter which band you’re on.
