My role involves supporting all members of the team with admin assistance ranging from cadet data collection to stock room organisation. I ensure that these tasks are completed so my colleagues can focus on supporting the youth and health partners in their completion of the scheme and also the health partners with their vital contribution; this ensures the cadet journey operates smoothly.
Since I have joined the team, I have had the exciting chance to meet some of our cadets along with the youth and health partners. This has been a great opportunity to see some of the amazing people who are taking part in the scheme and therefore gain a greater understanding of their experience and commitment to what we as an organisation are attempting to achieve. The feedback I have received highlights the brilliant work that everyone on the scheme has put in since its launch and has given me great motivation to help support its successful running, in order to give the cadets a fantastic insight into the nursing world.
Having been to both the Army Cadet Force Wales and Fitzalan High School delivery sessions, it is clear the high standard of teaching set for all cohorts, and it is incredibly pleasing to see the large number of cadets that want to take part. I also attended the Buckinghamshire cohort celebration evening and it was very enjoyable to see the cadets receive their recognition for taking part in such a wonderful scheme.
I am looking forward to supporting both my colleagues and the many stakeholders, to progress the scheme even further and support many eager cadets in pursing a successful career in the nursing sector.
