Maximising Nursing Skills in Caring for Children and Young People in Emergency Care Settings
The RCN in conjunction with the RCPCH in Facing the Future: Standards for Children in Emergency Care Settings set out the minimum standards for safe and effective care in emergency departments. This guidance aims to provide safe, interim solutions until these standards can be met by maximising the knowledge and skills of nurses working in emergency or urgent care settings.
The review date for this publication has been extended to July 2024.
