Children and Young People Infection Control Network

Welcome to the new infection prevention and control network for people working with children and young people (CYP). Our aim is to support you in your roles and identify where the Royal College can add value to nursing practice in this area. We look forward to understanding some of the challenges you have and how we might be able to help. This network will align closely with other RCN CYP networks and forums on professional and clinical issues.

One of the first small projects we will undertake is to develop some simple guidance on the management of toys as we often receive questions about these. Please let us know if you have any ideas or requests to help shape this.

To support this virtual network a Facebook page has been established to allow communication between members and the College. Please use this space to share ideas and have discussion about what is important to you to support the prevention of infection in all care and practice settings.
