POLICY: Nursing Leadership in Integration - Report of the RCN Distinct professions; shared care conference

An RCN Scotland report of our inter-professional conference, which explored the key issues that the regulated professions face and to set out solutions.

On the eve of integration, RCN Scotland hosted a major inter-professional conference to explore the key issues that the regulated professions face and to find shared solutions. The event, sponsored by the Scottish Government, was also supported by the following professional organisations: RCGP Scotland; Scottish Executive Nurse Directors; Social Work Scotland; AHP Federation Scotland; Royal Pharmaceutical Society Scotland, and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and Faculties in Scotland.

This report shows that the professions are eager to see services improve for the people who use them and to find creative solutions to the problems they face in delivering them.
