RCN Scotland parliamentary briefing on the Trade Union Bill in Scotland
26 January 2016
On 26 January 2016, the Scottish Parliament debated the Trade Union Bill. The RCN provided a briefing for MSPs ahead of the debate outlining the organisation's concerns about the potential effects of the Bill.
The RCN strongly opposes the Trade Union Bill. If enacted it would have serious consequences for productivity and staff morale in the NHS. We value the work of the Parliament’s Devolution (Further Powers) Committee on the Bill and support the recommendations made in its Report on the impact of the UK Government’s Trade Union Bill in Scotland.
