PARLIAMENTARY BRIEFING: RCN Scotland short briefing on the Trade Union Bill
10 November 2015
The RCN strongly opposes this Bill which, if enacted, would have serious consequences for productivity and staff morale in the NHS. This briefing covers facility time and ballot thresholds, as well as the Bill’s impact on patient care.
RCN Scotland believes that Continued pay restraint coupled with the attack on workplace democracy contained within the Trade Union Bill will do nothing to improve industrial relations. We believe that this Bill poses a profound risk to productivity, morale and the delivery of safe patient care in the NHS.
