About
The East Midlands region is one of the nine geographical areas of England into which the delivery of the RCN's representation and professional services locally is organised. We serve around 30,000 RCN members who work in the region.
Our RCN branches
The East Midlands has a network of six RCN branches serving members in their local area. Each branch has an executive committee, including a chair and secretary, who are elected annually to lead and administer the work of the branch for the benefit of members.
Our RCN Council member
In common with other regions, the East Midlands has an elected representative on RCN Council, the College's governing body. The Council is responsible for the overall governance of the RCN. The East Midlands' current RCN Council member is Paul Lee.
Our RCN Regional Board
The East Midlands Regional Board advises and supports the Regional Director in setting and delivering the RCN's priorities in the region. The Board meets three times a year and its members are elected by the regional membership.
