The last days of Rabbit Hayes

Janet Rose, Nurse duty manager

Reason you chose this book

This book enters into the life of Rabbit Hayes as her mother drives her to the hospice for terminal care. How often do we care for dying patients without a clue of the journey they have been on and the problems that they have to face. What an example.

Review

Dealing with breast cancer for four years Rabbit expresses her feelings. Surrounded by parents, siblings, friends and her twelve year old daughter there are decisions to be made. This book focuses on each personality connected to Rabbit's situation and how relationships are affected by illness. Full of warmth love and humour.
