This talk focuses on my career as a disabled employee from my early years right through to the current day. I will share personal experiences about what my working life was like prior to joining the NHS, and then in contrast explain how much my life changed from my very first shift as a health care assistant. I had the courage to share my story with the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Board in September 2023 and will share the impact this has had on myself and the disabled workforce.
